Job summary

Built Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Senior Engineering Manager, Data to lead a high-impact data organization.

You will guide engineers building the first holistic real estate data engine powering analytics, decisioning, and product capabilities across the platform. You will own data platform strategy, governance, reliability, and self-serve analytics, partnering with Product, Analytics, and Engineering teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of engineering management leading data teams.
• Direct experience leading a data engineering or data platform team.
• Proven ability to scale teams and systems through hiring, process, architecture, and delivery.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills across technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Hands-on familiarity with Snowflake, DBT, or Sigma (deep experience in at least one).

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow the data team.
• Own the data platform strategy and roadmap.
• Deliver high-quality, observable, secure, and scalable data pipelines and models.
• Partner cross-functionally with Product, Analytics, Security, and Engineering teams.
• Be a hands-on player-coach with architecture reviews and occasional implementation.
