Job summary

Built is the AI-first platform for construction and real estate finance. We’re hiring a Staff Product Manager, Data to own the data capabilities on the Built platform, including embedded reporting, analytics, and data delivery to customer systems.

You’ll work with data engineering, analytics, and product teams to ensure data value for lenders, owners, and GCs, shaping the data foundation that powers our AI features.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of product management experience, with at least 2 years owning data, analytics or reporting products in B2B SaaS.
• Strong SQL and comfort working directly in the data.
• Working knowledge of modern data stack concepts: warehouses, ELT, dimensional modeling, BI/tools like Sigma/Looker/Tableau.
• Experience writing requirements for data work that data engineers can build against.
• Track record of shipping data features and analytics that customers adopt.
• Ability to explain data concepts clearly to bankers and engineers alike.
• Experience in financial services, lending, real estate, or construction is a strong plus.

Responsibilities

• Own the strategy and roadmap for Built’s data capabilities, including dashboards, data exports and sharing integrations.
• Translate customer needs into sharp problem statements and requirements.
• Partner with data engineering on data models, pipelines and quality.
• Define shared metric definitions to ensure consistency across products.
• Collaborate with product teams to ensure data capture at source.
• Shape data powering AI features like the AI Draw Agent and risk tools.
• Track adoption, measure impact, and iterate on priorities.
• Support sales and customer success with demos and enablement on data features.
