Job summary

Cohere Health is seeking a Senior Manager, Data Platform Engineering to guide a critical part of the Data Platform team as we scale technology, practices, and client delivery capabilities. The role blends people leadership, technical judgment, and execution ownership to build a high-performing team with reliable, scalable data foundations across complex initiatives.

You’ll partner with Product, Engineering, Architecture, Client Delivery, and business stakeholders to ensure a trusted data

Qualifications

Requires 8+ years in data engineering/platform engineering or related field.
Proven ability to lead cross-functional engineering initiatives end-to-end.
Strong delivery discipline with risk mitigation and accountability.
Experience with modern cloud and data technologies (AWS, Spark, Airflow).
Experience in healthcare data environments preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead and develop a high-performing Data Platform engineering team.
Translate priorities into credible delivery plans with milestones and owners.
Maintain delivery discipline and manage blockers, dependencies, and capacity constraints.
Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Architecture, and Client Delivery to build scalable data foundations.
Drive operational excellence across production support, data quality, and observability.
