Job summary

Index Analytics, LLC is seeking a Sr. Database Administrator in Baltimore to design, build, and optimize scalable data solutions and pipelines for federal clients. The role combines data engineering with cloud-based implementation using AWS and Snowflake.

You will work in an Agile team to ingest diverse data sources, develop robust data models, and implement automated pipelines while ensuring data quality and secure operations.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience as Data/DB Architect or Engineer.
• Hands-on Snowflake, SQL and Python experience required.
• Strong knowledge of AWS, DevSecOps practices, and modern data architectures.
• U.S. citizenship or eligibility for U.S. government security clearance preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and optimize scalable data solutions and pipelines.
• Architect relational and non-relational databases and integration components.
• Implement Snowflake-based systems with automated data pipelines.
• Develop data models and data quality frameworks; ensure modular, version-controlled workflows.
