Job summary

CoreWeave is hiring a senior data platforms engineer to design and scale our data infrastructure, including managed databases, ingestion, data flow, and lakehouse components. You will implement APIs and streaming layers to serve internal teams and customers with reliable, scalable data services.

You will work across Go/Python/Java stacks, operate in a Kubernetes-based environment, and contribute to open-source efforts, ensuring security, performance, and compliance at scale.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in software or infrastructure engineering.
• Experience operating services in production at scale and reliability concepts.
• Understand CAP theorem and concurrency models; define data models and governance.
• Familiar with distributed datastores (CockroachDB, TiDB, YDB, Yugabyte) and stream tooling (Kafka, NATS).
• Proficiency in Go/Python/Java and interest in open source contributions.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement data platform for managed data ingestion and APIs.
• Scale relational data platforms and data pipelines.
• Develop stream processing architecture for scalability and reliability.
• Improve performance, security, reliability, and on-call participation.
