CoreWeave is seeking a Staff Engineer for Data Platforms and Stream Processing to advance its multi-regional datastore strategy and establish communication models for data flow.

You will lead a 6–8 engineer team, drive event-driven architecture, and design scalable data pipelines with emphasis on reliability and security.

Requires 15+ years in software/infrastructure, Go or Python proficiency, and strong Kubernetes experience; competitive compensation and equity are offered.

Qualificações

• 15+ years of software or infrastructure engineering experience.
• Understand data consistency and concurrency models; define data models and guidelines.
• Familiar with distributed NewSQL datastores such as CockroachDB, TiDB, YDB, Yugabyte and/or stream processing tools such as NATS or Kafka.
• Experience designing and operating these systems at scale.
• Familiar with Kubernetes; interest/experience with event-driven and/or stateful orchestration.
• Interested in contributing to a Kubernetes operator to manage data systems.
• Proficient with Linux, shell scripting, and Linux storage/networking stacks.
• Ability to decompose problems into elastic, achievable tasks and socialize them.
• Production level proficiency in Go or Python; interest in open source.

• Improve data platforms' performance, security, reliability, and scalability; participate in on-call rotation.
• Establish guidelines for data access and storage; ensure regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with teammates and nurture a curious, invested culture.
