Job summary

Docplanner is building a Data Platform Team that powers decision making for 90+ million patients across 13 countries. We’re looking for a Senior Data Engineer to own data ingestion, transformation, and serving at scale, mentoring others, and shaping the platform roadmap.

You’ll work across the stack with dbt, Airflow, AWS, Kubernetes, and Terraform, collaborating with analytics engineers and product teams. Remote-first, with a Warsaw hub, we value pragmatic problem solving and diverse

Qualifications

• Extensive experience building and operating production data platforms.
• Strong Python and SQL with testing, CI/CD, and code reviews.
• Experience with cloud data warehouses and AWS.
• Proficiency with Kubernetes and Docker in production environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate scalable data ingestion and processing pipelines across many source systems.
• Lead architectural decisions on the platform and write proposals that get adopted.
• Improve reliability, observability, and cost-efficiency of the platform.
• Develop infrastructure in close cooperation with Platform engineers.
• Work with analytics engineers, analysts, and data consumers to deliver a better data experience.
• Mentor other data engineers through code reviews and design feedback.
• Drive automation and AI-assisted operations to reduce repetitive work.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to turn data problems into shipped solutions.
