Job summary

Huxley is hiring a Senior Software Engineer, Data Platform for a fully remote role in the United States. You will scale the firm’s core data infrastructure, build scalable ingestion pipelines, and develop APIs to support data workflows.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Python with performance optimization and modular design.
• Experience building and maintaining production-grade data platforms.
• Experience creating scalable ETL/ELT pipelines and data ingestion frameworks.
• Backend services and API integrations to support data workflows.
• Hands-on with Snowflake, SQL, Dagster and cloud-based data infra.
• Experience implementing monitoring, validation, and data quality checks.
• Strong design skills for scalable, maintainable architectures.
• Ability to drive projects end-to-end with ownership and execution.
• Ability to understand business context and make data-driven decisions.

Responsibilities

• Build and enhance the core data platform and infrastructure.
• Design scalable data ingestion frameworks and ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Develop APIs and integrations across internal and external systems.
• Improve data quality, observability, and monitoring across datasets.
