Job summary

Clear Capital is seeking a Senior Data Infrastructure Engineer to lead building and managing high-volume data platforms in a hybrid cloud. You will work with data engineering and product teams to design scalable systems, ensure HA/DR, and own data pipelines that support real estate analytics platforms.

In this hands-on role, you will craft automation, monitoring, and reliable data services, collaborating across teams to advance our data initiatives and strategies in fast-paced environments.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in an AWS cloud environment in a similar role.
• Deep proficiency in Python and SQL; Redshift and PostgreSQL experience.
• Hands on IaC experience, specifically Terraform.
• Experience with observability, monitoring at scale, and data governance.
• Familiarity with data warehousing and orchestration tools (Airflow, Prefect, Dagster).

Responsibilities

• Manage large-scale data platforms for performance and scalability.
• Support Redshift, PostgreSQL databases in hybrid cloud environments.
• Partner with development teams to engineer flagship products.
• Maintain HA architectures, disaster recovery, and backups.
• Develop automation, documentation, monitoring, and observability.
• Develop Python and shell scripts for data migration and development.
