Job summary

RAZR in Minnetonka, MN, is looking for a Senior Data Platform Engineer to lead our data platform design and evolution. You will own end-to-end architecture of CDC-based ETL pipelines and reporting infrastructure, from database change capture to analyst-ready datasets and dashboards.

This is a technical leadership role—set direction and mentor the team. You will architect real-time and batch data pipelines with Debezium, Kafka, Flink, and DeltaStream, drive Snowflake strategy, and implement IaC

Qualifications

7+ years in data engineering or data platform roles.
Deep streaming experience with Kafka, Flink, and CDC patterns.
Strong Snowflake expertise and query optimization.
Production IaC experience with Pulumi, Terraform, or CDK.
SQL fluency for complex analytics and data modeling.
Experience leading technical design decisions and mentoring engineers.

Responsibilities

Architect and maintain real-time and batch data pipelines using Debezium, Kafka, Flink, and DeltaStream.
Own Snowflake data warehouse strategy including schema design and medallion layering.
Design infrastructure-as-code for the data platform with Pulumi.
Build and maintain reporting layer powering BI with Sigma.
Define data quality, monitoring, and alerting across pipelines.
Collaborate with product/engineering to translate requirements into scalable data models.
Establish patterns for incremental processing and schema evolution.
Evaluate new technologies as the platform evolves.
