Job summary

Xenon7 is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to architect and build scalable data platforms for life sciences, spanning small molecule, genomics, clinical trials, and manufacturing data. You will own data architecture, pipelines, and governance in a fast-paced, regulated environment.

You will work 3 days onsite in Indianapolis with collaboration across process engineers, clinical scientists, and platform teams to accelerate drug discovery and manufacturing insights.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in building data pipelines and scalable data architectures.
• Strong programming skills in Python, PySpark, and SQL.
• Experience with enterprise data platforms and regulated life sciences data.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable data pipelines and platform architectures for scientific and clinical data.
• Collaborate with process engineers and researchers to align data models with regulatory and manufacturing needs.
• Lead and mentor data engineering efforts, establish standards, and ensure governance across the data stack.
