Job summary

NVIDIA’s DGX Cloud organization seeks a Senior Data Engineer to lead a key area of the Navigator data platform. You will own architecture, roadmap, and production results for ingestion, orchestration, data quality, or serving components, working with customers and partner teams to deliver reliable, scalable data products.

You’ll collaborate across teams on design, development, and production tasks, maintaining a balance between immediate delivery and long-term maintainability.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• A sustained record of building and operating production software, data platforms, databases, or distributed systems
• Proven ability to outline a component’s technical plan and guide delivery across teams
• Experience with distributed processing Spark or similar systems, databases, ETL, streaming, or cloud platforms
• Strong Python and SQL proficiency for backend/data engineering tasks
• Experience leading complex investigations and root-cause analysis
• Architectural judgment balancing reliability, performance, cost, security, and maintainability
• Rolling out production quality practices: testing, CI/CD, monitoring, alerting, and secure deployment
• Ability to influence technical decisions and drive improvements across teams

Responsibilities

• Own a major platform component and its roadmap with multi-year planning
• Lead technical delivery across teams and manage requirements and dependencies
• Build data pipelines for batch and streaming ingestion, transformation, reconciliation, and serving
• Develop shared platform capabilities and tool abstractions for engineers
• Lead complex production investigations spanning pipelines, SQL engines, Spark, and cloud services
• Define quality, security, and operational standards for the platform area
• Deliver well-modeled data products, APIs, dashboards, and internal apps
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship across teams
