Job summary

NVIDIA’s DGX Cloud organization seeks a Senior Data Platform Engineer to shape the shared data infrastructure powering decision making across engineering, operations, finance and product teams. The role focuses on scale, reliability, security and cost in a multi‑environment telemetry platform.

You will lead large cross‑team initiatives, write essential code, and establish standards for testing, data quality, and auditable deployments while guiding data model ownership and delivering trusted

Qualifications

• 12+ years of relevant industry experience with a Bachelor’s or equivalent, and a Master’s degree or equivalent in CS/Engineering or related field.
• End‑to‑end ownership of multi‑system platform domains or complex cross‑team initiatives.
• Hands‑on work with distributed processing, databases, ETL, streaming, or backend/cloud systems handling large data volumes.
• Strong fundamentals in software engineering and production proficiency in a backend or systems language.
• Strong SQL and data‑modeling skills, including schema evolution and analytical consumption.

Responsibilities

• Define and guide the technical vision for a DGX Cloud Data Platform domain. Architect interfaces, scale, and cost.
• Deliver complex cross‑team initiatives; write critical code and guide secure production integrations.
• Architect and evolve batch and streaming ingestion across environments for telemetry data.
• Build shared platform capabilities to improve delivery speed, reliability, and cost.
• Lead production investigations and drive durable, preventive improvements across pipelines and services.
• Set engineering standards for automated testing, data quality, lineage, observability, and secure deployments.
• Define data models and serving interfaces to ensure trusted DGX Cloud data is accessible and maintainable.
• Provide architectural reviews and mentorship to senior engineers to raise overall quality.
