Job summary

Brex, a leading data-driven fintech, is hiring for a Data Enablement Platform role. You will own data infrastructure, collaborate with product, data science, and analytics teams, and help deliver data-backed products across a large-scale data stack.

You will build and operate data warehouses, streaming, and governance components, while improving platform reliability and data literacy across teams. The position requires 5+ years in data infra and in-office work 3 days weekly.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in data infra or data platform roles.
• Experience with Snowflake, Flink, Airflow, dbt, CDC.
• Fluency in Kotlin or Python.
• Experience building and maintaining large-scale data stacks.
• Experience with streaming infra like Kafka.
• Backend or full-stack development experience.
• Strong cross-team communication and collaboration.
• Willing to work in office 3 days a week (Mon/Wed/Fri).

Responsibilities

• Build, improve, and maintain Brex's data platform and infrastructure: data warehouse & analytics, data streaming, replication and materialization, data orchestration, data observability, access & governance.
• Partner with Brex's product teams, data science and analytics teams to help them launch superior products backed by data insights.
• Level up the data competency at Brex through partnership and education.
• Invest in building resilient data architectures, participate in on-call rotations, and continuously improve our operational efficiency.
