Job summary

Brex is hiring for a Data Engineer on the Data Enablement Platform team. You will help build Brex's data infrastructure to power customer experiences across the product and analytics stack.

You will collaborate with product, data science, and analytics to launch data-backed features, design scalable data pipelines, and participate in on-call rotations. This role combines backend and full-stack data work in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience in a data infra or data platform role.
• Proficient with Snowflake, Flink, Airflow, dbt, and CDC.
• Fluency with Kotlin or Kotlin-like languages (e.g., Python).
• Experience building and maintaining a large modern data stack.
• Experience with streaming infrastructure such as Kafka.
• Backend or full-stack development experience.
• Strong cross-team collaboration and communication.
• Willing to work in the office 3 days a week (Mon/Wed/Fri).

Responsibilities

• Build, improve, and maintain Brex's data platform and infrastructure.
• Partner with product, data science, and analytics teams to ship data-driven features.
