Qualifications

• Requires a BA/BS degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field and a minimum of 3 years of experience on one platform.
• This position is part of Wellpoint Federal division, which requires residency in the United States for the past three of five years.

Responsibilities

• Maintain active relationships with customers and stakeholders to determine business requirements.
• Collaborate with engineers, data architects, DBAs, and development teams to evaluate change requests and determine enhancements.
• Define application and data processing scope and prepare functional/technical specifications.
• Analyze detailed business, data, and technical requirements.
• Code and maintain SQL queries, views, stored procedures, data transformations, and ETL solutions.
• Support data integration, ETL, automation, and orchestration across platforms.
• Mentor others on coding standards and perform code reviews.
• Develop system tests, troubleshoot, and tune performance; re-run unit tests as needed.
• Aid in monitoring data processing and system performance, optimizing delivery processes.
• Provide technical support and governance for data platforms and tools.
• Document processes and solutions per standards.
