Job summary

Genpact is hiring a Senior Data Platform Administrator to bridge core infrastructure and data engineering. You will build, optimize, and maintain data warehouse environments on cloud and on‑premises, focusing on scalability, security, and cost efficiency.

This role requires hands-on Python scripting and automation to integrate apps and hosting platforms through modern tooling. The position is based in Orlando with a Mon‑Thu client location and remote work on Fridays; strong AWS and Snowflake

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• Experience as a Cloud Platform Engineer, Data Platform Administrator, or DevOps Engineer with data ecosystem focus.
• Hands-on administration experience with modern cloud platforms, particularly AWS.
• Familiarity with Snowflake, S3, Polaris, AWS Glue, etc.
• Strong proficiency with Terraform, Docker, and CI/CD (GitHub Actions, GitLab, Jenkins).
• Experience programming in Python and deploying containerized solutions.
• Ability to design automated data platform integrations and ensure governance.
• Excellent communication and collaboration with senior leadership.

Responsibilities

• Architect, provision, and maintain scalable, secure cloud environments for data workloads on AWS.
• Establish guardrails: IAM, security policies, naming conventions, tagging.
• Monitor and optimize cloud costs, compute, and storage, including EMR/Spark and data pipelines.
• Develop CI/CD deployment patterns and IaC automation for Data Engineering teams.
• Manage IaC with Terraform or CloudFormation and automate provisioning.
• Ensure high availability, monitoring, and troubleshooting for batch and streaming pipelines.
• Administer and upgrade data processing frameworks (Spark, Airflow, Kafka).
• Lead Snowflake RBAC, warehouses, cost controls, and integration with Iceberg on S3.
