Job summary

GP Fund Solutions (GPFS) is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to help build and optimize our data warehouse and lakehouse transition. You’ll work with Snowflake, dbt, and Git-based CI/CD to deliver reliable data pipelines and analytics solutions for clients across the US, UK, and EU.

You’ll join a collaborative, growth-oriented team with strong training plans and a hybrid work schedule after probation. Ideal candidates have 5+ years in data engineering and strong SQL/data modeling skills.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of data engineering or analytics engineering experience.
• Strong SQL skills and data modeling knowledge.
• Hands-on Snowflake experience and security model understanding.
• Experience with dbt and building/test models.
• Familiarity with Git-based workflows and CI/CD for data.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain data warehouse and transition to a lakehouse.
• Evaluate Snowflake workloads for migration/optimization.
• Build and maintain dbt models across layers with tests/documentation.
• Create data pipelines ingesting data into Snowflake with teams.
• Write and optimize SQL transformations for performance and maintainability.
• Contribute to data quality, schema validation, and pipeline monitoring.
• Participate in CI/CD for data with automated tests and reviews.
• Assist Snowflake/cloud infra configuration and access patterns.
• Support orchestration workflows and pipeline scheduling.
• Participate in design reviews and learn from senior architects.
• Troubleshoot pipeline/data quality issues and document runbooks.
