The position requires 7–10 years in data engineering, expertise in cloud platforms (AWS/Snowflake/Azure), and strong programming in Python/Java/Scala to support scalable data solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in CS/IT or related field.
• 7–10 years of data engineering experience with leadership exposure.
• Experience with cloud data platforms, big data ecosystems, cost optimization, and scalability.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the data engineering team, including project planning, resource allocation, and performance management.
• Develop and enforce data engineering standards, processes, and best practices for consistency and quality.
• Partner with business leaders, data scientists, and IT to translate priorities into technical requirements and delivery plans.
• Ensure data solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned with long-term goals.
• Drive adoption of new technologies to improve efficiency, reliability, and scalability.
• Oversee data documentation (architecture diagrams, process flows, technical specs).
• Manage and reduce technical debt; modernize legacy systems and ensure maintainability.
