Job summary
Epsilon is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for the Cleanroom team to drive delivery of critical data systems on AWS using Databricks and distributed frameworks. You will define standards, mentor juniors, and ensure scalable, secure platform growth while partnering with global teams to align solutions with business objectives.
You'll work across Python, PySpark, Spark, Databricks, AWS services, and databases, owning from requirements to deployment with emphasis on testability and
Qualifications
- Bachelor or higher in CS/IT or related field.
- 5-8 years in software/data engineering and distributed systems.
- Experience with data warehousing, data lakes, Delta Lake, and big data ecosystems.
- Hands-on Databricks, Python, PySpark and Apache Spark expertise.
- Strong AWS experience: S3, Glue, Athena, Lambda.
- Experience with Kafka or RabbitMQ and SQL/NoSQL databases.
- Solid testing, CI/CD and DevOps with Jenkins/GitHub/GitLab/Bitbucket.
Responsibilities
- Deliver large-scale cloud-native data platforms on AWS using Databricks.
- Work across stack: Python, PySpark, Spark, Databricks, AWS, SQL/NoSQL.
- Collaborate with global teams to align solutions with business goals.
- Own end-to-end software development lifecycle from design to deployment.
- Design reusable components and participate in architecture reviews.
- Mentor junior engineers and promote technical excellence.
