Job summary

Epsilon in Wakefield, MA is seeking a Lead Software Engineer for the CDP team to drive design, delivery, and technical strategy for scalable data platforms on AWS. You will mentor junior engineers, own end-to-end SDLC, collaborate with product, architecture, and global teams, and help ensure security, reliability, and cost efficiency as we scale our data platforms for marketing technology.

This role requires deep experience with Python, Java, Spark, Kubernetes, REST APIs and cloud-native

Qualifications

• B.E./B.Tech/M.Tech/MCA in CS/IT or related field.
• 8–10 years of software engineering experience with distributed systems.
• Experience designing scalable REST APIs and microservices.
• Proficiency in Python, Java, Angular; OO design and functional programming.
• Experience with PySpark and Apache Spark and distributed data processing.

Responsibilities

• Deliver large-scale cloud-native data platforms on AWS.
• Work hands-on across stack: Java, Python, Spark, TypeScript, Angular, AWS services, SQL/NoSQL databases.
• Lead technical initiatives for performance, scalability, reliability, security, governance, and cost efficiency.
• Partner with global engineering, product management, architecture, stakeholders.
• Own end-to-end SDLC: requirements, design, development, deployment, observability, docs.
• Mentor junior engineers and foster innovation.
