Job summary

Lennar is seeking a Director of Data Engineering to lead a team of data engineers, analysts, and data scientists in building and governing enterprise analytics capabilities. You will shape the Product Org data platform strategy, oversee ingestion and data contracts, and partner with senior leaders on data‑driven decisions.

You will also mentor teams, drive cross‑functional collaboration, and ensure scalable, compliant data delivery while aligning with Lennar’s strategic goals and long‑term

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in a quantitative field; master’s preferred.
• 10+ years in data analytics/science with leadership experience.
• Proven ability to lead and develop diverse data teams across multiple time zones.
• Experience with data governance, privacy, and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop a data engineering team across ingestion, transformation, and delivery of Product Org data.
• Define and execute the data platform strategy and data contracts with product applications.
• Partner with executives to align analytics initiatives with business strategy.
• Set standards for data governance, security, and cost optimization across platforms.
• Deliver regular updates to senior leadership on analytics impact and ROI.
