JPMorgan Chase & Co. in Plano is seeking a Data Platform DevOps Engineer – Senior Associate to design, build, and operate secure, scalable cloud environments that support mission-critical data applications.

You will own the container platform on AWS and partner with engineering teams to enable reliable deployments in a fast-paced environment. The role emphasizes hands-on ownership, mentoring others, and contributing to Agile delivery with strong DevOps practices, CI/CD tooling, and collaboration

Qualifications

5+ years of applied experience in a DevOps/cloud/platform engineering role.
Hands-on AWS experience, ECS, and cloud-based applications end-to-end.
Strong CI/CD practices with Jenkins and Spinnaker.
Excellent communication and collaboration across distributed teams.
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum delivery models and SQL/Kafka dependencies.

Responsibilities

Design, build, and operate secure, scalable cloud environments for Java/SpringBoot microservices and React UIs.
Own the AWS ECS application platform support model and ensure availability and performance.
Implement and improve CI/CD pipelines and delivery tooling for frequent releases.
Mentor engineers and promote DevOps maturity through reusable patterns.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enable reliable deployments.
