Job summary

Envision Technology Solutions seeks a highly accomplished Consulting Partner with deep hands-on Data Engineering and Modern Data Platform expertise to lead complex enterprise data transformation programs.

This technical leadership role requires the ability to move from executive discussions with CIOs to deep technical conversations involving Databricks, Spark/PySpark, dbt, SQL, cloud architecture, and large-scale data migration.

Qualifications

• 15+ years in data engineering or technology architecture.
• 10+ years hands-on data engineering experience.
• Experience architecting enterprise-scale data platforms.
• Hands-on with Spark/PySpark and SQL.
• Experience with cloud data platforms like Databricks or Snowflake.
• Experience with dbt and Airflow.

Responsibilities

• Serve as senior technical advisor for complex data engineering programs.
• Define enterprise data platform architectures and modernization strategies.
• Lead architecture assessments and review decisions.
• Provide hands-on guidance for pipelines, dbt models, and Airflow DAGs.
• Oversee large-scale data modernization programs with governance and KPIs.
• Communicate with CIOs/CDOs and translate tech issues to business terms.
