Job summary

Shiv Software Experts in Jersey City seeks an experienced Data Platform Architect to lead the modernization of the enterprise data ecosystem, defining the architecture for large-scale transformations across on-prem and cloud environments.

You will drive migration of multi-petabyte data environments to cloud-native analytics, design scalable, secure data architectures, and establish governance, standards, and engineering best practices across teams.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in data platform architecture, data engineering, or distributed systems.
• Experience leading enterprise-scale cloud migration initiatives involving hundreds of terabytes or petabytes of data.
• Large-scale data warehouse or lakehouse platforms
• Experience migrating data from platforms such as Vertica, Hadoop, Teradata, Oracle, Snowflake, or similar technologies.
• Strong understanding of data governance, security, compliance, and operational monitoring.
• Bachelor’s Degree
