Job summary

Bright Vision Technologies is seeking a Data Platform Architect to define and lead the architecture of our enterprise data platform, spanning ingestion, storage, processing, governance, and consumption layers. The role drives the strategic direction of data infrastructure and sets standards for data modeling and lifecycle management.

Ideal candidates combine deep technical mastery of modern data platforms with strong architectural judgment and have led data-platform programs of meaningful scope

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in data engineering with architecture responsibility.
• Deep expertise in Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery or Redshift.
• Strong lakehouse, streaming systems, and data modeling knowledge.
• Hands-on experience with Spark, Flink or Kafka at scale.
• Experience with governance, lineage, and catalog capabilities.
• Cloud, networking, identity, and cost optimization fundamentals.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Define and lead the architecture of the enterprise data platform across ingestion, storage, processing, governance, and consumption.
• Set standards for data modeling, lifecycle management, and data quality.
• Partner with data engineering, analytics, ML, and business stakeholders to deliver a cohesive data foundation.
