Job summary

Coastal is seeking a Data Platform Architect to own the overall design of Salesforce Data 360 (D360) solutions and to guide data-driven strategies for clients. The role emphasizes leadership in integration, governance, and real-time data activation across enterprise cloud platforms.

The ideal candidate has deep D360 knowledge, a strong data architecture background, and hands-on experience with Snowflake, Databricks, and BI tools. Travel to client sites is expected as needed.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in solutions architecture or tech consulting for cloud data platforms across enterprise workstreams.
• Deep Salesforce D360 (Data Cloud) architecture knowledge: data model, identity resolution, activation targets.
• Data modernization focus: lakehouse, zero-copy data sharing, real-time activation.
• Broad data ecosystem experience: data warehouses, ETL/ELT tools, data pipelines, data science basics.
• Excellent communication to stakeholders and clients at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Enterprise D360 harmonization aligning with business needs and enabling real-time activation.
• Designing data solutions bridging cloud data platforms with Salesforce ecosystem for BI and analytics.
• Migrate and map data from legacy systems into Salesforce D360; ensure governance and security.
• Provide leadership and guidance to data engineering and CRM teams.
• Evaluate tools and connectors for seamless data integration and activation.
