Talenzon is seeking a Lead Data Engineer to join an on-site team in New York. You will design and scale modern data infrastructure that underpins analytics, machine learning, and business decision-making.

You will build data pipelines, support AI workloads, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data quality and governance across the platform.

Qualifications

• Experience in designing and building data platforms for analytics and ML workloads.
• Strong programming in Python and SQL with solid data modeling knowledge.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and streaming/event-driven architectures.

We are looking for a Lead Data Engineer with strong experience in large-scale data platforms and real-time analytics to join our client’s on-site team in New York.

This role focuses on building and scaling modern data infrastructure that supports analytics, machine learning, and business-critical decision-making processes.

What We’re Looking For

Required Skills & Experience

• Experience with cloud platforms such as Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud, or Microsoft Azure
• Experience with streaming technologies and event-driven architectures
• Knowledge of data warehousing and lakehouse concepts
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills

Nice to Have

• Experience supporting AI and machine learning workloads
• Familiarity with orchestration tools and Infrastructure as Code
• Experience in FinTech, Media, or SaaS environments
