Rooms To Go seeks a senior Data Engineer Architect to lead architectural design and evolve scalable cloud data platforms in an onsite Brookhaven, GA role. You will partner with data scientists, BI teams, and stakeholders to enable advanced analytics, AI/ML, and BI with secure foundations.

The role demands expertise in Databricks, Delta Lake, Snowflake, and cloud data services, plus strong leadership and governance capabilities.

Qualifications

• 8–12 years progressive data engineering experience including leading architecture and implementation of large-scale cloud-native data solutions.
• Expert proficiency with Databricks including Delta Live Tables, Unity Catalog, and Spark performance tuning; know Azure Data Factory and Event Hubs.

Responsibilities

• Lead the architectural design and development of enterprise-grade data platforms using Databricks, Delta Lake, and Azure Data Services.
• Define and enforce technical standards, design principles, and best practices for consistency, reusability, scalability, and maintainability.
• Architect and optimize data warehouse and lakehouse solutions using Snowflake, star schemas, and distributed data systems.
• Guide integration of real-time and batch pipelines for analytics, ML model training, and reporting.
• Design secure, compliant, high-performance data architectures aligned to governance and access control.
