Job summary

Early Warning Services LLC is seeking an experienced Senior Data Platform Architect to lead the design and delivery of large-scale data systems across our hybrid work locations in Scottsdale, Chicago, New York, and San Francisco. You will partner with product and engineering to define data architecture and enable scalable, secure data pipelines.

The role requires strong background in distributed systems, cloud platforms, and BI/ML toolchains, with a track record of delivering mission-critical

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in CS or related technical field.
• 8+ years in complex data platforms and distributed systems.
• 7+ years in data platforms, cloud SaaS, and microservices.
• 6+ years in data warehousing, real-time/batch processing, and standards.
• 4+ years in BI solutions.
• 2+ years in AI/ML model development and lifecycle.
• Experience delivering business-critical systems to market.
• Experience designing scalable data warehouses with SQL Server or equivalents.

Responsibilities

• Define and own data strategy for broad, complex requirements.
• Lead architecture, prototyping, and implementation for data initiatives.
• Guide backlogs and ensure delivery from design to production.
• Collaborate with product, design, and other teams to build new features.
• Improve data standards, tooling, and engineering processes.
• Support risk management and data confidentiality across systems.
• Resolve production issues with Support and Operations teams.
• Drive testing for quality, performance, and scalability.
