Job summary

Archwest Capital is seeking a Principal Data & Analytics Engineer to architect and build the next generation of our enterprise data and analytics platform. This senior, hands-on individual contributor will design data architecture, develop pipelines, and deliver analytics solutions that drive strategic decisions.

Reporting to Technology leadership and collaborating with Finance, Capital Markets, Operations, Servicing, Asset Management, Accounting, and Sales, you will transform enterprise data

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in Data/Analytics engineering or BI.
• Expert SQL skills with relational DB design and performance tuning.
• Hands-on ETL/ELT pipelines with modern tools (Azure Data Factory, Snowflake).
• Experience designing data warehouses, semantic models, and scalable reporting architectures.
• Proficiency with enterprise BI tools (Power BI, Tableau).
• Strong communication with executive leadership.
• Experience with APIs and enterprise integration technologies.
• Cloud data platforms in Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.
• Proficiency in Python for automation and data processing.

Responsibilities

• Architect and build the enterprise data platform, analytics infrastructure, and reporting ecosystem.
• Develop scalable ETL/ELT pipelines with modern tooling.
• Design and optimize data warehouses and governed datasets.
• Integrate Salesforce, lending systems, financial platforms, APIs, and external data.
• Create executive dashboards and self-service analytics for leadership.
• Translate business problems into scalable data solutions and insights.
• Define enterprise reporting standards, KPIs, governance, and data quality best practices.
• Optimize SQL performance and data reliability.
• Explore AI-enabled analytics and intelligent automation opportunities.
• Collaborate with executives to drive strategic data initiatives.
• Mentor junior analysts and engineers as the team grows.
