Job summary

MMP Capital is seeking a Data Platform Lead to build and scale the company’s enterprise data platform from the ground up. The role combines hands-on engineering with strategic leadership to design data warehouses, data lakes, and reporting layers that support finance, operations, and capital markets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in data engineering, analytics, or BI.
• 3–5 years of experience in data engineering, data platforms, or BI roles.
• Hands-on experience with SQL, Python, and data pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain an enterprise data platform including data warehouse/lake, data models, pipelines, and reporting layer.
• Develop scalable data pipelines across Salesforce, lease/loan management, servicing, accounting, and third-party data sources.
• Create a reliable source of truth for originations, portfolio performance, funding, and reporting.
• Lead data governance, quality, reconciliation, and controls; ensure data accuracy and compliance.
