Job summary

LPL Financial is seeking a hands-on Technical Lead to guide the Data Distribution and Data Sharing platform, leading engineers and QA in a fast-paced environment. You will drive architecture, data product development, and integration with application layers, ensuring reliability and scalable data contracts.

The role emphasizes platform engineering, ETL design, and team leadership across onshore and offshore resources, with a focus on modern data pipelines and data contracts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in Information Technology.
• 5+ years of experience with cloud and data technologies (Snowflake, PostgreSQL, DBT, AWS).
• 5+ years of ETL experience with Informatica.
• 5+ years experience in SQL server procedures, views, indexes and performance tuning.

Responsibilities

• Own the technical vision, architecture, and end-to-end design of the Data Distribution and Data Sharing team.
• Establish and maintain SLAs/SLOs for data products serving external customers.
• Lead and mentor a distributed team of onshore and offshore engineers and QA resources.
• Build and optimize data pipelines and workflows using Snowflake, DBT, and AWS services.
• Support integration between data platforms and application layers (.NET, Angular).
• Design, build and maintain ETL processes and data models.
