Job summary

Oracle is seeking a hands-on leader to guide engineering teams building core network infrastructure for a high-scale, multi-tenant cloud. You will own performance of the networking dataplane and help shape the feature roadmap for customer-focused services.

You will drive automation, manage on-call incidents, and mentor engineers across cross-functional teams in a fast-growing, ground-up infrastructure project.

Qualifications

• Led or managed teams building network infrastructure.
• 5+ years of software engineering experience plus leadership.
• BS degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Hands-on architecting, designing, and overseeing feature implementation.
• Experience with C/C++ and Python, Linux kernel modules.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team to build core network infrastructure that is scalable and reliable.
• Own performance of the networking dataplane and feature roadmap.
• Understand service scale, capacity, security, and performance requirements.
• Automate and reduce technical debt; participate in incident management.
• Mentor engineers and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
