Job summary

Oracle is seeking a senior leader to guide one or more Network Engineering teams responsible for hyperscale L3/L4 networking and cloud connectivity. You will define strategic and tactical plans, drive cross-group improvements in reliability, security, and cost efficiency, and manage budgets to meet targets across the teams you lead.

The role involves coordinating physical network platform lifecycle, standardizing topologies, and advancing multi-cloud connectivity while enforcing policy-as-code

Qualifications

• Leads one or more Network Engineering teams delivering hyperscale L3/L4 networking and cloud connectivity.
• Defines tactical and strategic plans; drives cross-group improvements in reliability, security, and cost efficiency.
• Manages budget and ensures targets across teams are met.
• Experience with DC fabrics, EVPN/VXLAN/SDN upgrades, MOP/rollback, and verification standards.
• Standards VPC/VCN topologies, transit/peering, PrivateLink, NAT, multi-cloud connectivity.
• Embeds zero-trust segmentation and policy frameworks; enforces policy-as-code and preventative controls.
• Proficient in IaC, GitOps, and telemetry for reliability and security analytics.
• Negotiates with vendors and partners within budget authority.

Responsibilities

• Defines multi-quarter architecture roadmap for DC fabrics and traffic engineering across regions.
• Leads cross-team design reviews and modernization programs; enforces standards and verification.
• Optimizes load balancing, capacity alignment, and cost guardrails at scale.
• Drives security governance with audit readiness and risk reduction programs.
• Institutes policy-as-code and safe deployment patterns (canary/auto-rollback).
• Tracks DORA metrics and leads platform/tooling investments.
