Job summary

Oracle invites applications for a hands-on engineering leader to head teams building high-scale, multi-tenant infrastructure services. You will own networking dataplane performance, drive feature roadmaps, and foster reliability through automation and cross-team collaboration.

The role requires mentoring engineers, deep knowledge of C/C++, Python, Linux, and network protocols, with experience in on-call and incident management in mission-critical environments.

Qualifications

• Experience leading or managing a team of software engineers building network infrastructure.
• Hands-on ability to architect, design, and oversee development and implementation of features.
• Experience deploying code within change management procedures.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team building core network infrastructure that is performant, scalable and reliable.
• Own service performance related to the networking dataplane and feature roadmap.
• Automate and reduce technical debt; contribute to automation initiatives.
• Own and respond to customer incidents within SLAs and manage on-call.
• Drive reliability improvements and collaborate across teams and leadership.
