Job summary

ZoomInfo seeks a Software Engineer III to join its Data Acquisition team in Waltham, MA. You will design and build backend data pipelines, ingest and validate large data sets, and help shape scalable data infrastructure.

You will work with batch and streaming architectures, implement ETL/ELT workflows using Airflow, Beam, Spark, and Pub/Sub, and contribute to observability, reliability, and performance in production systems.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Experience building/operating production data pipelines and ETL/ELT workflows.
• Strong proficiency with Java and OO programming.
• Hands-on with data processing/orchestration technologies (Beam, Airflow, Spark, Dataflow, DataProc).
• Experience with streaming systems (Kafka, Pub/Sub) and batch processing.

Responsibilities

• Design and build backend data pipelines ingesting and storing high-volume data.
• Develop ETL/ELT workflows using Airflow, Beam, Dataflow, Spark, or DataProc.
• Implement features in Java-based services for scalable data acquisition.
• Work on batch and streaming architectures for real-time data flows.
• Improve data quality, observability, and reliability of pipelines.
• Collaborate with product and data teams to translate requirements into solutions.
