Qualifications

• 5+ years in SRE, DevOps, cloud infra, or related production-support roles.
• Hands-on with Kubernetes-based workloads and deployment systems.
• Familiar with Linux, HTTP, DNS, containers, Git workflows, and scripting in Bash or Python.
• Experience with monitoring, logs, metrics, dashboards, alerts, and incident management.
• Comfort with event systems such as Kafka, Pub/Sub, Kinesis, or similar technologies.
• Strong troubleshooting mindset and production-support experience.
• Interest in data platforms, data engineering systems, orchestration, streaming workloads, and internal developer tools.

Responsibilities

• Monitor service health and respond to incidents across cloud, Kubernetes, and data platforms.
• Investigate reliability issues across Databricks, Spark, and orchestration systems.
• Support internal apps, APIs, workers, and deployment workflows.
• Build dashboards, alerts, and runbooks to speed detection and recovery.
• Improve observability for Databricks jobs and Spark streaming workloads.
• Route metrics and logs into Grafana and monitoring tools.
• Contribute to alerting for Airflow, dbt, and data pipelines.
• Automate repetitive ops work and improve environment hygiene.
• Support release reliability and change safety.
• Collaborate with data/analytics engineers to improve reliability.
