Job summary

Exavalu Solutions India Pvt Ltd in Charlotte, NC seeks an experienced Data Modeler to design scalable data models for Data Warehouse, Lakehouse, BI, and AI initiatives. 3 days in the office with permanent remote options support a flexible hybrid model.

Ideal candidates have 10+ years in Data Modeling/Data Architecture within Asset/Wealth Management or Financial Services, and hands-on Erwin, Databricks, Snowflake, and AWS experience.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in Data Modeling/Data Architecture.
• Strong experience in Asset Management, Wealth Management, Retirement, or Financial Services.
• Hands-on experience with Erwin.
• Knowledge of Databricks, Snowflake, AWS, and SQL.
• Experience with Canonical Data Modeling, Dimensional Modeling, Lakehouse, and Medallion Architecture.
• Strong understanding of BI/Analytics, Data Governance, Metadata, and Data Lineage.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain conceptual, logical, and physical data models.
• Develop canonical, conformed, and dimensional data models using Star and Snowflake schemas.
• Define facts, dimensions, hierarchies, measures, KPIs, and business rules.
• Support Lakehouse and Medallion Architecture (Bronze, Silver, Gold).
• Translate business requirements into reusable data domains and data products.
• Define data modeling, metadata, naming, and governance standards.
• Partner with Data Governance teams on data quality, ownership, lineage, and glossary.
• Support data catalog, semantic layer, BI, analytics, and AI initiatives.
• Lead model reviews and collaborate with business, product, engineering, and architecture teams.
