VERSANT Media seeks a Senior Data Modeler to define, evolve, and govern our enterprise-wide North Star Data Model. You will align domain concepts into a shared data language and practical models used across Bronze, Silver, and Gold layers.

You will collaborate with Product, Data Engineering, Analytics, Architecture, Governance, and Security to enable cross-domain analysis, trusted data products, and scalable data platforms.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in data modeling, architecture, or analytics engineering.
• Experience designing conceptual, logical, and physical models for multi-domain data platforms.
• Ability to translate concepts into unambiguous data definitions and mappings.
• Strong knowledge of metadata, lineage, data governance, and privacy.

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain enterprise North Star Data Model across domains.
• Establish canonical entities, shared dimensions, and reference data.
• Model Bronze, Silver, and Gold data layers with governance.
• Ensure traceability from Gold metrics to Bronze sources.
• Partner with Product, Data Engineers, and BI developers to deliver data models.
• Maintain enterprise ontology, glossary, and semantic definitions.
