Job summary

Trane Technologies is seeking a Senior Data Architect to lead enterprise data modeling efforts across core business domains. You will design, maintain, and govern data models, aligning with IT strategy and data mesh concepts. You will mentor junior data professionals and collaborate with domain teams to ensure data quality and usability.

The role emphasizes modeling standards, metadata management, and scalable data architectures across ERP, analytics, and cloud ecosystems.

Qualifications

7+ years of hands-on data modeling experience.
Experience with ERP, analytics, and cloud platforms (Oracle, SAP, GCP, Snowflake, Azure, AWS).
Relational and dimensional modeling expertise (star, snowflake, data vault).
Strong metadata management and enterprise data catalog familiarity.
Ability to influence across technical and non-technical teams; collaboration with governance stewards and domain owners.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain enterprise data models for core business domains.
Lead data model design sessions aligned with IT strategy.
Define modeling standards and reusable patterns across teams.
Design data modeling transitions to reach target state and support MDM/data mesh strategies.
Document data lineage and communicate data architecture strategy.
