AbbVie is seeking a Senior Manager, Data Management, to join the Office of Safety Operations (OSOP) Systems, Data & Analytics. The role focuses on delivering high-quality safety data solutions that support regulatory reporting, product surveillance, and informed decision-making.

You will drive data operations, governance, and continuous improvement in collaboration with stakeholders to ensure trusted data outputs and operational excellence.

Qualifikationen

• BS in statistics, computer sciences, data science, and healthcare or other technology related areas degree.
• A minimum of 3 years computer software experience in database reporting.
• A minimum of 2 years of project management experience.
• A minimum of 2 years Pharmaceutical industry experience.
• Advanced knowledge of structured programming principles and documentation procedures.
• Understands database architecture concepts, and strategies and methods for retrieving data.
• Ability to design and develop queries using SQL expertise as well as analyze and critique SQL coding.
• Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders, lead cross-functional initiatives, and drive organizational change.

Aufgaben

• Build and maintain strategic partnerships with business, technology, and functional stakeholders to understand business and regulatory requirements, align priorities, and ensure the delivery of trusted data solutions and high-quality data outputs
• Drive prioritization and execution of Data Office Operations activities, balancing business needs, regulatory requirements, risk, capacity, and strategic objectives to maximize value and operational effectiveness.
• Drive the standardization and optimization of reports, data deliverables, and operational processes by promoting scalable solutions and reducing reliance on custom solutions where appropriate.
• Identify opportunities to streamline reporting and operational processes through self-service and technology-enabled solutions, partnering with business and technology stakeholders to develop scalable capabilities that improve efficiency, quality, and user experience.
• Provide oversight of vendor-supported data operations and reporting activities, monitoring performance, quality, compliance, and service delivery to ensure alignment with business expectations and regulatory requirements
• Develop and maintain operational processes, methodologies, and training programs, while providing guidance on data and reporting solutions to support cross-functional adoption and effectiveness
• Lead the development and execution of the Data Office Operations strategy, establishing priorities, performance measures, and operating frameworks that drive operational excellence, continuous improvement, and business value
• Provides expert technical understanding of the AbbVie Adverse Event database and other external databases
• Manages implementation of GPS solutions. Develops, maintains and manages use of document management, tracking and reporting tools
