Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Chief Data & Interoperability Architect to set the technical direction for healthcare data exchanges across systems on a federal program. The role emphasizes production HL7 v2 and FHIR interfaces, containerized REST/FHIR migrations, and enterprise-scale data integration on AWS GovCloud.

You will drive OMOP CDM mappings, design event-driven data flows, and supervise architecture across security, operations, and vendor teams while working within SAFe and government DevOps

Qualifications

8-12 yrs of relevant experience in data and interoperability
10 years in software engineering, systems integration or data engineering
Experience with enterprise-scale data exchange with external partners
Production HL7 v2 and FHIR interfaces and data validation

Responsibilities

Own the data and interoperability architecture for production interfaces
Lead migration of legacy SOAP to REST/FHIR on AWS GovCloud
Define OMOP CDM and standard-terminology mappings
Design event-driven/streaming data flows for near real-time exchange
Coordinate SAFe-aligned releases across teams
Align dev, data, operations and security for technical decisions
