Johnson Controls in Milwaukee seeks a Senior Data Integration Engineer to design, build, and operate scalable data ingestion pipelines powering Workforce Analytics. You’ll acquire and standardize data from enterprise systems—especially Workday—into our data platform using Fivetran, APIs, and file-based integrations.

You will collaborate with Data Platform, HR systems teams, and data engineers to ensure data is timely, complete, and production-ready, while monitoring pipelines, optimizing cost,

Formación

• 5+ years of experience in data engineering or data integration engineering.
• Strong experience with Fivetran or similar ingestion tools.
• Experience integrating data via APIs and flat files.
• Hands-on experience with Workday integrations or HR data systems.
• Strong SQL skills and understanding of data structures.
• Experience building reliable, production-grade data pipelines.
• Familiarity with cloud data ecosystems (Snowflake preferred).

Responsabilidades

• Design, build, and maintain scalable ingestion pipelines using Fivetran and APIs.
• Integrate data from Workday and other HR systems into the data platform.
• Ensure pipelines are robust, fault-tolerant, and production-ready.
• Monitor data quality, timeliness, and observability of ingestion.
• Configure and optimize Fivetran connectors and schedules.
• Define ingestion standards for APIs, files, and transformations.
• Collaborate with Data Platform, HRIS/Workday, and downstream modeling teams.
