Job summary

ICF’s Digital Modernization Division seeks a Data Integration Engineer to advance enterprise data and analytics for a large federal agency. The role focuses on data movement, APIs, and secure connectivity to Summit, coordinating with Platform Engineering and Security.

You will design and support ETL/ELT pipelines, validate performance, and contribute to runbooks and governance with cross-functional teams, while working primarily remote with some client-site meetings in Washington, DC.

Qualifications

U.S. citizenship required for federal contract work.
Must reside in the U.S., be authorized to work in the U.S., and perform all work in the U.S.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, DB Admin, Systems/Cloud Engineering or equivalent; four additional years of relevant experience in lieu of degree.
Minimum 6 years of relevant experience.
Master's degree may substitute for two years of experience.

Responsibilities

Implements data movement, replication, APIs, and interoperability patterns to connect source systems and legacy data paths to Summit.
Coordinates secure connectivity with Platform Engineering and Security; documents connection patterns and validates performance and lineage.
Applies data integration, APIs, replication, and migration support to service role delivery.
Collaborates with product, engineering, security, governance, and customer-facing stakeholders as required.
Documents work products, decisions, risks, and delivery evidence for traceability.
