Job summary

Compeer Financial is seeking a data engineer to develop, enhance, and operate complex ETL/ELT data movement between systems using Microsoft Fabric and SSIS. You will lead database development efforts, coordinate with users, consultants, vendors, and internal teams to maximize data value.

A strong SQL background and data warehousing experience are essential. The role focuses on designing pipelines, managing Lakehouses/Warehouses, and ensuring data integrity, with a hybrid work option and ongoing

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, MIS or related field or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, deploy, and maintain data integration solutions using Microsoft Fabric and SSIS.
• Develop and administer data platform databases, Lakehouses, Warehouses, and related components.
• Lead ETL/ELT pipelines, ensure data flow reliability across source systems and data platforms.
• Support data warehouse strategy, patterns, and reusable integration components.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve pipeline failures and data issues.
• Create automated data ingestion, transformation, and publishing processes across the platform.
• Define data migrations and requirements using SQL, PySpark, notebooks, pipelines.
• Resolve data quality issues across source systems and data stores.
• Apply security, documentation, and CI/CD practices to Fabric environments.
