Job summary

Nationwide is seeking a Life Business Insights analyst to tackle complex reporting challenges, build scalable data solutions, and partner with stakeholders to translate data into actionable insights. You will learn new analytics technologies and contribute to meaningful problems within the Life Insurance organization.

The role requires strong SQL, dashboard development in Tableau/Power BI, and a passion for data-driven decision making in a Fortune 100 company environment.

Qualifications

• SQL: data extraction and manipulation experience.
• Tableau/Power BI: building and maintaining data visualizations and dashboards.
• Preferred: Python for advanced analytics and automation.

Responsibilities

• Partner with internal customers to determine data needs for business decisions.
• Develop, produce and maintain ad hoc and custom reports for a functional area.
• Analyze information in reports and pull data via various tools for analysis.
• Plan and support information project needs and maintain data integrity.
• Retrieve data from internal/external sources and export information as needed.
• Train other users on report preparation and database access.
