Job summary

Rocket Homes Real Estate LLC, based in Seattle, WA, is seeking a Sr Software Engineer to join the Data Integrity and Management team. You will build data ingestion pipelines and tools to keep the property inventory current, accurate, and scalable on the Redfin-anchored platform.

You will design and implement large-scale data systems using Kafka, Java, Python, Postgres, SQL, and AWS in a Kubernetes environment, with on-call readiness and mentoring responsibilities for teammates.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience developing full-stack data ingestion platforms.
• Experience with large-scale applications backed by relational and non-relational databases.

Responsibilities

• Develop data ingestion pipelines and tooling to keep inventory updated.
• Build products and tools that impact key metrics and revenue growth.
• Work with spatial and shape data and integrate lat/long within shape files.
• Develop large-scale applications with relational and non-relational databases.
• Create tooling to monitor, maintain and update essential data.
