Job summary

Anthropic is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Engineer to design and scale data pipelines, storage, and access controls across our data platforms. You'll work with data scientists and business stakeholders to ensure secure, reliable, and compliant data infrastructure.

You will lead critical projects, implement IaC with Terraform, and optimize cloud storage, while balancing performance and cost in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in a Software Engineer role building data infrastructure.
• 3+ years leading large-scale projects or teams as an engineer or tech lead.
• Ability to set technical direction for a team.
• Proficiency with Python, Go, or Java; experience with Terraform and cloud platforms.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement robust data access control and IAM policies.
• Build and maintain pipelines and warehouses powering reporting.
• Architect disaster recovery and cloud storage reliability.
• Scale data processing infrastructure with BigQuery, Spark, dbt, and Airflow.
