Job summary

Humana Inc. is seeking a Lead Informaticist to design, develop, and govern data products and scalable ETL/ELT pipelines within an AI-enabled analytics platform. You will align data models with business definitions and KPI calculations across pharmacy, membership, marketing, and finance domains.

You will lead technical work on data governance, metadata, and reproducible infrastructure, enabling analysts to answer complex business questions with reliability and scale.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, data engineering, analytics, informatics, information systems, mathematics, statistics, or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, document, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines and curated analytical data products.
• Translate requirements into reusable data models for claims, membership, marketing, finance, and other domains.
• Define and maintain metadata, definitions, lineage, and transformation logic for data sources.
• Encode and govern business logic supporting KPIs, population rules, and analytical methodologies.
• Integrate disparate data sources while protecting data integrity and meaning.
• Build data environments for AI-assisted analytics using Databricks Genie One.
• Evaluate accuracy, completeness, consistency, and repeatability of AI answers.
• Identify gaps in governed data and propose data, logic, or metadata enhancements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable analytical capabilities.
